Objectives

Understanding the importance of security when using a chip card. Getting a basic knowledge of symmetric and public key cryptography to better understand the impact on your business and on your customers. A special focus if put on Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) due to its predominant role in the new economy.

Who should attend

Marketing and executive staffs willing to have a basic knowledge about security and cryptography. A general scientific background is preferable and a general knowledge about smart cards is a prerequisite.

Introduction to cryptography

Details

The training will be given by Jerome Ajdenbaum, one of the most renown expert on EMV security. Jerome is Senior Consultant for Iteon, the company he started four years ago. Jerome is a specialist of EMV security, working with banks and manufacturers to enhance the security of the systems under deployment. Before starting Iteon, Jerome held various R&D and marketing responsibilities with Bull CP8 (now Axalto).
